We look forward to serving you as a valued customer of our AquaCharge™ pump
  • What do I do if my battery won't take a charge?
    • If your battery won't take a charge try some of these troubleshooting actions:
      • Check the power connection on your wall or in your vehicle/boat
      • Check to make sure the power cord is fully inserted into the back of the charger
      • Make sure the battery cartridge is fully seated in the charger base in the correct orientation and the charge light is on
      • Verify that the charger is in good working condition
      • Depending on the age, usage rate and the environment where the battery cartridge has been stored, the battery may need to be replaced. Additional batteries are available, sold separately.
  • Does AquaCharge™ offer a warranty?
    • AquaCharge™ is covered by a one year limited warranty in the United States and a two year limited warranty in Europe.
  • Is AquaCharge™ safe for my children
    • AquaCharge™ is not designed to be used by children and therefore should not be.
  • Do I need a special hose for the AquaCharge™ Pump?
    • No. Your AquaCharge™ pump will work with the supplied 8' (2.45 m) hose or with any standard garden hose.
  • Will the pump turn off by itself?
    • No. If you leave the pump on it will remain running until the battery is completely drained of power. To avoid this, remember to shut your AquaCharge™ off when not in use.
  • Do I need to do anything to my AquaCharge™ if I won't be using it for a long time?
    • Yes. It is important that you remove the battery from the pump during long periods of storage. Then, store both the pump and the battery in a dry place.
  • Can my AquaCharge™ pump anything other than water?
    • No. The AquaCharge™ pump is designed for use with fresh and salt water only.
  • What do I do if my pump is not pumping?
    • Check the following:
      • Make sure the ON/OFF knob is turned the furthest to the right
      • Verify the battery is charged by placing it in the charging base and looking for a green light
      • The pump strainer is free from debris
      • Verify that the pump is in at least 1/4" of water. If the pump is in less than 1/4" of water, the pump may not always be able to pick up the water.
  • Is my pump still covered under the limited warranty?
    • To determine if your pump is covered under the warranty, check the date codes on the bottom of the charging base, the bottom of the battery, and beneath the handle on the pump. The code is a 4 digit format DDDY (day day day year). Jan 1 = 001, Dec 31 = 365, 2011 = 1. For example, code 0201 is day 20 of 2011 (Jan. 20). If your date code shows a date within a year from today (two years if you're in Europe), your pump is still covered.
